Session Submission Type: Demonstration/Performance
In recent decades, video data have become an integral part of many research and professional development projects in teacher education. The convergence of technologies now affords additional opportunities. Given this rapidly changing digital landscape, in this demonstration session, researchers explore the use of video as research and teaching tool in teacher education and professional development. Researchers will explore the use of NVivo as data management tool and data analysis tool in a literacy center, video as a tool for reflective practitioners and teacher educators, and means of exploring multimodal composing. Research topics such as coding, inter-rater reliability, and data management will be discussed.
