Session Submission Type: Invited Session
This session will focus on observations of patterns in the research and scholarship represented in submissions to Division K for the 2012 annual meeting. The topics discussed will include the extent to which submissions addressed highly salient problems of practice in teaching and teacher education, how complex issues of diversity and context were addressed, and the strengths and weakness in the presentation of research and scholarship. Panel members will offer suggestions for the preparation of submissions, the reporting of empirical studies, the presentation of substantive conceptual pieces, and descriptions of works in progress.
