Mon, April 16, 8:15 to 9:45am, Marriott Pinnacle, Floor: Third Level, Pinnacle I

Abstract

This paper presents a sociolinguistic analysis of narratives shared by Bridget and Karen, both practicing teachers in urban contexts. Set in the context of a graduate literacy course, the findings explore the socio-cultural positions and identities constructed within and across single-authored stories shared in writing and co-constructed stories shared interactively in group discussions.
