Abstract

In this session, presenters will showcase five approaches to teacher education and discuss the impact they have on candidates. The session will highlight the imperative of incorporating contextual knowledge of community as a critical cognizance for teacher candidates. The models discussed address teacher education in during a time of high-stakes accountability and testing.
