The paper will focus on the work of three Critical Race Theory (CRT) scholars who designed and implemented a three-day Institute for Teachers of Color Committed to Racial Justice. The purpose of the institute was to use CRT in education research to support the development, retention and success of teachers of color fighting for racial justice in K-12 schools. This paper will overview: 1) the expertise each researcher brought to the work, 2) share findings from data collected, and 3) focus on the insights gained through the facilitation of this unique institute.
