The study was fundamental on the theoretical and empirical research concerning school effectiveness. In particular, improving student achievement through school process is dependent on teaching quality, school climate and students’ satisfaction. A multi-level model of school practice consisting of student GPAs was suggested. 1,852 students studied in ninth-grade secondary schools in Thailand. The research instrument was a questionnaire with five-level Likert scale, yielding the reliability is 0.86. The study found that school climate and student’s satisfaction have a significant effect on student achievement. However, it’s quite wondering that teaching quality wasn’t significant to student learning, so the educators, policy-makers and administrators in Thailand should realize and assist renewal of secondary schools with the intention of improving learning outcome in classroom.
