Teaching should not be done in isolation, especially as a new teacher, and especially if the profession wants to retain teachers for and from diverse communities and contexts, document the new teachers’ abilities to help every child in their classrooms learn, have sustained program effects on graduates from Educator Preparation Providers (EPP), and learn from new teachers’ struggles. This New Teacher Support Group (NTSG) is an effort to continue a completer’s education into the field and help our graduates feel supported once they enter their new teaching positions.
