Where are we Sixty Years later, this study examines in a contemporary context post racial Black educators by examining the lives and work of African American teachers who attended and then taught in Jim Crow schools in the American South. Specifically, what are contemporary teachers roles as transformative change agents within the larger society by critically interrogating the life stories of Black teachers in post racial America.
