Session Type: Symposium
This session will share initial results from a new tool being developed to provide longitudinal information from the key implementers of learning focused reforms—teachers and school leaders. The American Teacher Panel and the American School Leader Panel are national representative samples of teachers and principals who respond to online surveys four or more times per year. The ATP and ASLP will be continuing resources that researchers will be able to use at reasonable cost to monitor changes in the work lives of educators in response to changes in education policies. The session will describe the panels and also share evidence from them relating to the implementation of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
