Session Type: Symposium
A discussion of justice that extends understanding of its roots, challenges, and triumphs is needed. The presenters of the papers in this session have varying ideologies and a common concern and commitment to justice for the marginalized and student of color. The terms justice, injustice, social justice, and social change represents a “justice spectrum” that needs discourse and framing. The evolutionary contexts of these terms are the source of discourse and debate. This session will examine these issues and inviting audience opinion and feedback on a proposed conceptual framework that values social justice for all and in all institutions.
