Session Type: Paper Session
This session invites AERA attendees to imagine new images of children as more than a composite of ages and stages and, rather, as protagonists of their own lives-including their relationships, their learning and their sense of what is socially just in the world. Stories shared in this session inspire more purposeful and critical examination of traditional images of children produced by others who've forgotten what it means to be a child.
