Session Type: Paper Session
To align with the AERA 2015 conference theme, the Invitational Learning SIG will host a series of papers around a theme of promoting justice through creating more inclusive and inviting learning environments for all students, young and old, in K-12 and university settings. All papers are connected by propositions of trust, respect, care, optimism and intentionality, the basic assumptions of Invitational Education. This session will provide a forum for discussing Invitational Education Theory and Practice as it relates to teacher and administrator preparation programs, as well as higher education professionals providing such preparation.
