Abstract

With the retention rate of African American undergraduates declining at Valdosta State University, researchers sought to better understand students’ perceptions of the campus culture. This mixed method study details the experiences of African American students at a PWI to determine how campus culture with racial injustice may be impacting the retention African Americans.
