With this research I examine the associations between individuals’ education and their political behaviors and attitudes across diverse sociopolitical settings, and test the hypothesis that education has a key role in sociopolitical changes globally, with special emphasis on post-socialist countries. I attempt to answer following: does education make us have similar visions about the society that we live in, or does the context of education have a stronger role in how we utilize that particular resource? Who are the leaders and what are their motivations for taking political actions in diverse settings? I use World Values and European Values Survey to answer the questions, and I utilize Collective Action and World Society theories as a foundation of the analysis.
