The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there was a relationship between principals' perceived practice of instructional and distributed leadership and of school climate, controlling for a net of principal and school characteristics. The principal data set of the TALIS 2013 by OECD was employed. Several multivariate regression models with and without the country controlled dummy variable were conducted respectively. Results indicated that principals’ perceived distributed and instructional leadership practices are significant predictors of mutual respect in the school. Nevertheless, leadership styles did not appear as an important factor for school delinquency.
