Self-Study of Teacher Education Practices (S-STEP) for Right Relation: Indigenous Education in Teacher Education

Abstract

This study, conducted using S-STEP, is designed to investigate practices related to Land and place to support Teacher Education that can contribute to justice for Indigenous peoples and Land in Canada. This research will honour and add to the community of practice of pre-service teacher-educators across Canada as we seek to change what, and how, Canadian students learn about Indigenous peoples.
