This study examines whether three particular religious variables, religious identity, affirmation of importance and religious service attendance, are associated with academic honesty. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) indicates that only religious service attendance is positively associated with academic honesty while the other two variables are not significantly associated with academic honesty. Specifically, students who attend religious services more frequently are less likely to be engaged in cheating than students who are attend less frequently, even when controlling for other explanatory variables (e.g. gender and attitude toward cheating).
