Given the increased undergraduate enrollment rates in computing majors, it is necessary to investigate how computing education programs prepare their graduates for success after the graduation. Computing professionals indicate that in additional to technical skills/knowledge, non-technical skills, including lifelong learning need to be stressed in formal education. This current study seeks to explore faculty and practitioners’ perceptions about the importance of lifelong learning skills on the job and degree to which these skills are emphasized in computing-related undergraduate programs.
