Affirming Race and Diversity Through Lived Experiences of Students of Color

Abstract

In the immediate aftermath of President Obama’s successful campaign, many hypothesized that the US had entered a post-racial era. Using a Critical Race and Intersectional framework, this study examines how high-achieving underrepresented minority college students discuss diversity and affirmative action within higher education and college admissions.
