Session Type: Symposium
This session presents research on stress and coping relevant to teachers in K-12 and college settings using diverse and innovative methodologies. A variety of data sources were employed, including self-reports from teachers and the nationally representative Schools and Staffing Survey (SASS). Both qualitative and quantitative methodologies were used. Each of the contributions will focus on a specific aspect of stress and/or coping, and will illuminate the unique demands and resources pertaining to each context.
