Session Type: Symposium
This symposium explains the theoretical principles of ‘Radical Love’ and the preventive socialization of gender violence, developed by Jesus Gomez. This symposium brings the opportunity to discuss with the audience the main contributions of this innovative approach that is having recognized social impact on stopping and avoiding violence in our schools within the European Union, while improving children’s performance and coexistence.
The session is composed by four papers addressing particular dimensions of this approach: a) the conceptualization of the Theory of ‘Radical Love’; b) the prevention of the ‘Mirage of Upward Mobility’; c) the contributions for the prevention of school violence since early childhood; d) the role of new masculinities in overcoming gender violence.
