This session explores informal science education through multiple discursive and overlapping lenses. Across these papers, the authors explore teachers’ perceptions of informal and formal science teaching practices and explore the impacts of youths’ participation in after school and outdoor learning experiences. The studies collectively represent both national and international perspectives.
