Tue, April 12, 10:35am to 12:05pm, Convention Center, Floor: Level Three, Ballroom A

Abstract

Digital text and technology-based solutions are addressing challenges in reading comprehension through multiple means of content representation. For example, instead of text as the primary content tool, schools and individual teachers are looking to media, video, audio, and similar solutions to represent ideas, content, and related materials. This presentation will feature a study thought sought to understand how digital textbooks would impact reading comprehension and application in the content-based classroom. The structure of the study, findings, and implications will be shared.
