This session will advance discourse around the need for a more diversified professoriate generally and specifically among Black men. Bringing together a panel of past participants in the Grad Prep Academy, an initiative launched in 2009 at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, to prepare talented Black undergraduate men for doctoral study and research-related careers in the field of education.
