The Teacher Data Use Survey (Authors, in press) is a consistent, reliable tool to measure teacher data use and its supporting components. Historically, schools and districts have had trouble responding to the information from such a survey to improve data use. In this paper, we describe the TDUS and how Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools used it to improve their data culture.
