Critical Race Theorists have articulated the ways in which the academy is a site that institutionalizes white property, and the politics of passing and trespassing (Lawrence, 2015). This presentation shares the approach, theoretical framework and research projects of a group of student affairs practitioners and allies that attempts to blur these borders in an effort to learn more about student access and success, create programs that develop our students as critical leaders, while also transforming the university, a site where white property is engrained and maintained.
