As educators of future and current educational professionals, faculty in colleges of education serve as models for how to integrate technology into the instructional and learning process. While there are technology standards for K-12 teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators, there are currently no common standards for the skills and knowledge needed by colleges of education faculty to effectively use technology to support teaching and learning. Such standards could offer guidance for the preparation of future faculty and to support professional development for current faculty. This paper offers a set of competencies to address this gap. The competencies were identified from the literature and then refined and amended through a Delphi research process. Applications to practice are discussed.
