Session Type: Symposium
This symposium includes four presentations that focus on school policies and/or practices that actively affirm transgender and gender-creative students. Each paper will present an examination of local policies and/or practices designed to support transgender and gender-creative students in the K-12 public education system. The four regions included are metropolitan areas in: California, Colorado, Ontario and Western Australia.
