Session Type: Roundtable Session
Through analyses of contemporary challenges and opportunities related to their own empirical and practical work, the presenters in this symposium derive key pedagogical principles for educating professionals. The session is intended to begin the process of updating, rethinking, and revising of the landmark book Educating Professionals (1993) by situating this task within the Teaching and Learning Community of Division I, sharing our ideas at AERA’s annual meeting, and drawing on the interests and expertise of our audience to assist us in this process.
