Abstract

This session brings together a set of papers that employs CHAT to examine and address inequities at the intersections of racial, language, and ability differences in education. The panel will focus on CHAT as a tool for (a) understanding and resolving contradictions in bilingual special education, (b) understanding learning processes amid teacher learning for urban inclusive education, and (c) advancing qualitative methodologies that address equity minded questions for students with dis/ability.
