The diversity of California's population, economy, and geography presents unique opportunities and challenges for the state's K-16 educational institutions. Several recent statewide initiatives have sought to elevate college-going outcomes through innovations in the college access space. This panel highlights three approaches involving collaborations among K-12, postsecondary, and community organizations and reaching tens of thousands of students. Researcher, practitioner and project evaluator panelists will share research findings, data from project evaluations, and logistics of project implementation and sustainability. Facilitated by a national expert in the college access field, discussion will focus on the objectives of the initiatives, how projects are measuring what works, and next steps for future research and practice.
