Session Type: Symposium
The session presents three studies focused on urban student engagement in arts residencies, teacher professional development as leverage for equity, and arts partnerships programming for equitable access over time. Each study suggests different perspectives on opportunities for arts learning and raises questions on how to define terms and effect measurable change. Presenters will also explore the role of cross-site communication and collective focus on arts opportunities to guide policy decision making in arts partner organizations and school districts.
