Session Type: Symposium
This symposium will share findings from the largest multi-site study of assisted housing and child well-being to date using Integrated Data Systems (IDSs) from across the United States. IDSs are now being used to solve the information and communication breakdown central to our public administration. IDSs allow government agencies to systematically dialogue around priorities of mutual interest, and support the rigorous evaluation of publicly-funded programs through a multi-system lens. This symposium will showcase the value of IDSs using not one but six IDS sites to conduct a quasi-experimental study of the educational well-being of children in assisted housing programs of the Office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
