There is a gap between theory and practice. Conversations in academic circles express angst, dismay and disappointment that every decade, the same concerns are driving the national conversation on educational outcomes and academic achievement for Culturally, Linguistically, Ethnically, Economically, and Educationally Diverse students.
The aim of this practitioner focused symposium will be to provide a platform, a voice and audience for practitioner scholars to share their scholarship and research. The primary question this symposium will answer is “How do practitioner scholars utilize and produce research which promote positive outcomes for CLEEEDs in Urban K-12 settings”?
