These papers examine schooling from the perspective of youth, bringing to the forefront their voices about what matters to them in their schools, classrooms, and communities, as well as how they make sense and integrate their world. The authors bring forth these perspectives in various ways, from studies of youth programs to Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR). Together, these papers exemplify how researchers and practitioners can incorporate the youth perspective in efforts to foster more equitable educational outcome.
