Abstract

Drawing from qualitative and quantitative data, this roundtable will examine the development of critical consciousness across three areas. The papers that make up this roundtable will explore student engagement in a community as classroom program, the development of critical consciousness in a participatory action research project, and the potential of Black speculative fiction as a tool for anti-racist educators.
