This roundtable, with a focus on bilingual education, will feature papers that address the following: educators’ adaptations to meet ELs’ needs, how English learners reflexively positioned themselves and how English dominant peers interactionally positioned English learners, youth in bilingual programs researching their own experiences, how bilingual classroom assistants in Swedish schools position themselves in response to their evolving language ideologies.
