Abstract

This session will highlight advice and suggested strategies for successfully navigating the manuscript preparation, peer review, and revision processes when attempting to publish in leading evaluation journals (e.g., the American Journal of Evaluation, New Directions for Evaluation, Evaluation and Program Planning, Journal of Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation). Editors will address common challenges; share lessons learned as authors, editors, and reviewers; and answer participants' questions about what it takes to publish. This session is helpful to those who are in the midst of preparing a manuscript, graduate students thinking about publishing, and practitioners who have yet to be published and would like guidance.
