Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
Indigenous research is an act of responsibility and a reclaiming of Indigenous representation in higher education. In asserting Indigenous research there are multiple layers of empowerment and tension. This session will engage in conversations by unpacking these multiple layers and move toward making a call for action for Indigenous and non-Indigenous academics to address systemic change that promotes and provides support for Indigenous research in the academy.
