Dewey's writing on teaching and learning remain influential in education today. In this session the importance of living curriculum, experiential learning, pedagogically meaningful practice, and teacher-based inquiry are examined. Dewey's belief that the teacher plays an instrumental and critically important role in the educative experience are acknowledged in the papers for this session.
