Mutually-beneficial, collaborative relationships between school districts and universities have the potential to greatly benefit the teachers and students within those districts, as well as the education community more broadly. This fireside chat highlights four highly effective district-university partnerships. These partnerships include graduate student internship program, graduate-level courses, and curricular alignment K-16. For others interested in cultivating or improving these types of collaborative partnerships or becoming involved in an internship, we will discuss successes, lessons learned, and strategies to overcome barriers in the implementation of a district-university partnerships.
