Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
This session will focus on current trends and challenges related to conducting diversity research in professional education settings. The panel of diversity scholars will describe their body of work, identify opportunities for research in this area, and describe barriers to conducting research related to cultural competency, implicit bias, and equal access. The panelists do their work in professional education and are junior and senior scholars. Their experiences and guidance expand to all graduate students interested in conducting this type of research.
