Diversity in music education focuses upon developing an appreciation for the inclusion of all musics. Diversity in our classroom also refers to the inclusion of all indviduals in a complete music education across the lifespan. This session includes papers focusing on inclusion of students with special needs as well as cultural responsiveness, technology to teach diverse musics, and ways to reach non-traditional students.
