This study examined the effect of ICT use at home on student math achievement with focused attention to female students in Korea and Shanghai-China. We applied path analysis in SEM to Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2012 to investigate the effects. Results showed ICT academic use has a positive effect on student math achievement. However, student use ICT for entertainment at home has a negative effect on student math achievement. Additionally, there is a gender gap of student math achievement that females have lower math achievement than males in Shanghai-China and Korea. Furthermore, females use ICT academic use more often than males who use ICT for academic purpose while females have less frequency of using ICT entertainment then males.
