This paper concludes with an overview of the EP principles and the teaching puzzles that the participants have identified as topics of their enquiries. She explains how some of these principles - those regarding the development of quality of life, collegiality, inclusivity, and in particular, sustainability of teacher research via the use of normal classroom activities as investigative methods in order to integrate research into the normal teaching routine – have been an inherent driving force in maintaining the teachers’ search for understanding. Finally, Assia reports on the strategic processes that she had also initiated in order to enhance further the leading EP principles to address some of these challenges.
