Abstract

This paper reports on a study that explored culturally relevant pedagogy and leadership in one large comprehensive urban high school. As such, this study explores – from the perspectives of teachers and administrators – the factors (both internal and external to teachers) that contribute to culturally relevant pedagogical practices among teachers representing to critical areas (English and mathematics) in one large urban high school.
