Session Type: Roundtable Session
This session brings together an intergenerational team of youth researchers, teachers, and university researchers to reflect on social, intellectual, and personal transformation as well communal change as part of a New York City public high school-based youth participatory action research (YPAR) program. The session includes an opportunity for participants to explore with youth researchers as they grapple with how to take their data and findings to produce meaningful change and contemplate their own transformations. A great amount of time will be allotted for conversation with the audience, as our goal is to complicate notions of inquiry, knowledge production, and transformation in schools and classrooms.
