This session includes five papers that demonstrate innovative dimensions in portfolio and reflection research, including a broad research context such as social justice teacher education, the high stakes edTPA, and music education. These papers also represent a new methodological trend of adopting mixed methods and multiple data triangulation to study the complexity of reflective thinking and its connection to equity, social justice, evaluation, and teaching practice.
