Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
This session brings scholars with various sociocultural expertise together to discuss the challenges and changes public school leaders and researchers are facing while increasing elite interests of neoliberal education and implementations of anti-social welfare policies in the era of TrumpAmerica have pushing the US public education system away from equal opportunity to learn to all children. The purpose of the conversation is to seek for practical solutions or research directions to support leaders in public education. Graduate students will also have opportunities to interact with scholars, share research projects, and participate in a discourse of social-justice oriented leadership.
