Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
The session brings together four papers that focus on teaching and learning and is based on research done in Nigeria, South Africa, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It provides the opportunity for a blend of veteran and emerging researchers to ignite an academic discourse on issues that relate to access to quality education in many of our schools within and outside of the Americas. The papers offer teaching and learning strategies for making knowledge more meaningful and address the real life experiences of learners and the plight of many of our teachers. The authenticity of the findings can easily be replicated within varying educational contexts within and outside of the Americas.
